Women of the Oaks are committed to nurturing a love for the church, encouraging women to serve those in need, building community, and sharing love. As a unified body of believers we desire to inspire, equip, support, and disciple women to live fully in God's purpose. We fulfill that vision by creating opportunities and resources for women to discover gifts and be empowered to fulfill HIS purpose.

Our Teddy Bear Project was a success!

This project was inspired by Kada's Promise and was done in memory of Reese Hughes.

Coats for Kids Project

Our annual Coats for Kids Mission was a success! Over 50 coats were provided for our little friends over at Toombs County Headstart!

Nursing Home Project

Our Youth group was able to go over to the local Nursing Home and pass out flowers for Mother's Day!

Candy Collection Halloween 2025
We were able to collect a MASSIVE amount of candy for all of our Halloween events in 2025. (Lyons Courthouse, Upper Elementary School, and Downtown Lyons)!

Spring is here! It’s hard to believe March is behind us and April is already underway. Easter has come and gone, and what a beautiful time we shared celebrating the resurrection of our Lord — He is ALIVE indeed!
 
The weather has been absolutely magnificent, and I hope you’ve been enjoying all the recent activities here at The Oaks. Our    Women on Mission had a wonderful evening of food and fellowship at Steeplechase a few weeks ago — we had 10 ladies in attendance, and it was a special time together. We’ll definitely be planning     another outing soon!
 
There are so many exciting things ahead. In just a few short weeks, we’ll be celebrating Graduate Recognition Sunday, followed by Mother’s Day. What a joyful season this is!
 
I encourage you to get plugged in and stay connected. God is moving, and it’s a blessing to be part of all He is doing!
